I searched the Internet for lists of the best shows from the Cartoon Network. Criteria included the shows being ranked, not just listed, and generally created by groups, whether teams or committees or based on general public voting (like Ranker.com).

I found 20 different ranked lists online of “best Cartoon Network shows.” Then I averaged the rankings each show got and divided that average by a factor of the number of lists it was on. The lowest score meant a high ranking average on many lists. The complete spreadsheet is attached at the bottom.

The shows that were on the most lists (out of 20):

  • Courage the Cowardly Dog (1999-2002) – 19 lists
  • Samurai Jack (2001-2004, 2017) – 19 lists
  • Adventure Time (2010-2018) – 18 lists
  • Dexter’s Laboratory (1996-2003, 2013) – 18 lists
  • The Powerpuff Girls (1998-2004, 2016-2023) – 17 lists
  • Teen Titans (2003-2006) – 16 lists
  • Ed, Edd n Eddy (1999-2008) – 16 lists
  • Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends (2004-2009) – 16 lists
