I was able to find 32 lists. I took the 32 lists and added all their content into a spreadsheet, noting the rank of every lighthouse. There were 66 that were on at least two lists. I averaged the rankings each one got and dividing that average by a factor of the number of lists it was on. The lowest score meant a high ranking average on many lists. The complete spreadsheet is attached at the bottom.
The lighthouses that were on the most lists (out of 32) were:
- Tower of Hercules – La Coruña, Spain – 20 lists
- Portland Head Lighthouse – Cape Elizabeth, Maine – 17 lists
- Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse – Nova Scotia, Canada – 15 lists
- Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse – Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina – 13 lists
- Lighthouse of Chania – Crete, Greece – 11 lists
- Lindau Lighthouse – Lake Constance, Germany – 9 lists
- Fanad Lighthouse – County Donegal, Ireland – 8 lists
- Tourlitis Lighthouse – Andros, Greece – 8 lists
- Heceta Head Lighthouse – Florence, Oregon – 8 lists
