I was able to find 24 lists. I took the 24 lists and added all their content into a spreadsheet, noting the rank of every player. I ended up averaging the rankings each player got (there were 440 that were on at least 2 lists) and dividing that average by a factor of the number of lists that player was on. The lowest score meant a high ranking average on many lists. The complete spreadsheet is attached at the bottom.
The players that were on the most lists (out of 24) were:
- Babe Ruth – 24 lists
- Willie Mays – 24 lists
- Hank Aaron – 24 lists
- Barry Bonds – 24 lists
- Ty Cobb – 23 lists
- Ted Williams – 23 lists
- Stan Musial – 23 lists
- Walter Johnson – 21 lists
- Lou Gehrig – 21 lists
- Mickey Mantle – 21 lists
- Honus Wagner – 20 lists
- Roger Clemens – 20 lists
